Statement

Rooted in my dream interpretation practice, this exhibition gathers new and existing work—selected for their symbolic potency—from my previous investigations.

As an artist, I am constantly in dialogue with my own desire to create meaning. The show strings together symbolic images like a sentence meant to articulate a type of pre-alphabetic utterance. Include are diverse investigations—from "grass paintings" capturing ephemeral light and avian omens to digital videos from my recent exhibition on the legacy of the Rocky Mountain Locust plagues.

By drawing from pastoralism, historical events, craft traditions, and contemporary digital techniques, these works blur the boundary between timelessness and anachronism. They invite viewers to contemplate objects-symbols as the foundational elements of allegory and myth—enduring ways humans seek and share meaning within our cyclical, phenomenological world.
